Dispatch Description:
A Dispatch from The Expanse, transmitted by Stardust Stationers on behalf of the GalaxyGirlGang into the hands of the Stardust Society.
Herstory:
She didn't wait for an invitation to space. She suited up and left.
Vega is the Voyager — the GalaxyGirlGang's explorer, the one who moves through the universe rather than governing or containing it. She floats through deep space with the practiced ease of someone who has done this before, surrounded by planets and star fields and the particular silence that exists between galaxies. She is not lost. She navigates by her own name — Vega, the brightest star in Lyra, one of the three stars that form the Summer Triangle, a navigation point sailors have used for centuries.
Within the GalaxyGirlGang, Vega governs exploration, courage, mission, and the specific kind of freedom that only exists when you leave the atmosphere behind. She is always in motion. She is always exactly where she needs to be.
